R and I always give cookies and other sweets to our coworkers for Christmas. I saw this great idea for use-what-you-have cookie wrappings on the Purl Bee. For each person I stuffed quart-sized ziploc bags with a few pieces of toffee, peppermint bark, fudge and 7 layer bars.

The only supplies you need are:
-cookies, obviously
-ziploc bags
-paper lunch sacks (cut off the bottom and make a tube)
-2 inch and 1 inch strips of paper (or use fabric scraps)
-string
-tape

I welcome any hints on how to keep cats off the table. We've pretty much given up on that one.

Cut the bottoms off your paper bags. Place the ziploc inside and fold and tape the paper bag on the bottom.

Tape the paper strips around the bag and wrap with yarn. Easy-peasy! And they look darn cute too.
