I ended today with a mug of hot chocolate.
When I arrived home this afternoon it was -20 F (-29 C). Here I am plugging in my engine block heater. Brr.
The day began with a cup of coffee from my thermos and a stack of papers to grade. Ending or beginning the day, a hot drink will get you through winter in Alaska. Which reminds me, hot apple cider sounds good…

Alas, not that unusual for November here. If it's above zero we feel pretty lucky this time of year.
